Goat Kid Not Drinking Milk. The kid may have colic or appear to be in pain with grinding of it s teeth not uncommon. I always loved milk and do not drink main stream milk but organic pasteurized goat milk and on occasion raw grass fed milk from jersey cows.
The kid may have diarrhoea or constipation intermittently. They were doing fine but then one of them started resisting milk. It could be that you have hysterical goats like me or the mother could have passed away during child birth.
The reason is because you never know when a kid will be born and not have the milk they need.
I have been able to increase bone density by 8 in the first year after breaking a bone and finding i had severe osteoporosis. Unlike cow s milk there is no need to homogenize goat s milk. Vaccinate with cd t toxoid when the goat is old enough. Literally poisoning from within this can happen when newborns and very young kids consume too much milk floppy kid syndrome or when ruminating kids eat too much sacked feed.
