Kid Goat Losing Hair. My buck goat started to loose his hair about one week ago and now one of the does is loosing her hair as well. My baby goat just started losing hair on her lips.
He is loosing hair on his back and neck. 1 kid is the runt and bottle fed seems to be very small in general. I left the buck this long because he is not scratching or rubbing.

This is really disturbing because the hair is falling out in big chunks and all that is left behind is pink skin. A kid with reduced temperature will require different treatment than a kid that is running a high fever. 1 kid is the runt and bottle fed seems to be very small in general. Once you have ruled out parasites losing hair and other physical reasons for the itching it might just be your goat wants your attention and friendship.
